For learning Ruby: Books >> Web

I’ve decided to learn Ruby on Rails. I’ve read enough on how Ruby is different, better etc. that I ultimately determined that I won’t really understand it until I learn it. I initially poked around the web and tried to glean information from some of the tutorials out there, but I found myself floundering and constantly running into issues caused by nuances that were not explained.

I picked up a copy of ‘Agile Web Development with Rails’, and I was reminded again of the depth and context that a well-written publication can provide that just isn’t available on the web. So, back to reading…
